Well, monday David & I had our 3d (still not sure if it’s called 3d or 4d, i’ve heard both) sonogram appointment. it was SO weird seeing her like that. we have a couple good pictures but in most of them she just looks like mashed potatoes. my favorite one is definitely this one:
she was smiling or laughing and has her little fist in front of her face. it was so hard to get a good picture of her because she constantly had her hands up and apparently the umbilical cord was floating around in front of her too so that made it even harder. occasionally though she would cooperate and move her hand just enough for the technician to snap a couple good pictures. i’ll be sure to upload some more whenever i can because we have some other cute ones too of her sucking her thumb and yawning (:
As for other updates, i’m now 31 weeks pregnant and only getting more and more uncomfortable as the days go by. my back hurts so bad from sitting in a chair from 8-5 monday through friday. my stomach is getting big, so big to the point where when i sleep i have to have a pillow underneath it otherwise it feels like it’s hanging off the edge of a cliff. and, ugh, i wobble around now — especially when i’m full of pee and even more so when i go up and down stairs.
david is still being super supportive with everything. he rubs my back when i ask, puts lotion on me so i don’t get stretch marks. he tries to minimize me having to get up for things, so he always will get up to get me a drink or food or go upstairs to get something. even at the store when he’s paying for something he tells me to walk ahead because he’ll “catch up.” so yes, he’s definitely doing an amazing job so far.
ah, only 9 more weeks!
